The kids found a little hole in the bushes and started being trolls ❤️

Window boxes

Corey built me these cute window boxes a while ago and I have been looking for just the right thing to fill them with. And I finally found it! They make me so happy!!!

Working boy

My little Logan man wants a job. When we asked him what kind of job he thought he could do he said mow lawn. So today he sarted learning how to mow the lawn by him self. He did pretty good on his own but he has a long time and work to do before he starts working for other people. But man I love that he is willing to work and and work hard for him self and his money. ❤️

Onion season

Today was onion day. I came home from the 4th of July, we spent it at the beach with Corey's family at the beach it was amazing but all my pictures got deleted 😥. But when we got home the onion slices were ready!!! We planted 50 and got 45 I'm pretty happy with that. We picked them and have them drying for storage now. This guy ⬇️ down here he's the king of onions! He's as just about as big as my face! I'm so excited the onions grew this year. Here's to a winter full of onions!! 

We also have a couple of pounds odd like 5 pounds, of snap peas, a coupe of zucchini and I spied one red tomato ! I just love my garden! I'm so great full Corey did so much work to put the boxes in and is always working on the sprinklers to make sure they are watering everything just right! He my man and just the best! 

Summer with PomPa and GiGi

Beaches and forts

After camp 18 we went to the beach. It was COLD! The kids jumped in the water right away. They had fun but where freezing after 30 minutes or so. 

This is how Anna sat after playing in the water. Trying to hid from the wind. Silly girl. 

After the beach we headed to Fort Stevens State park, I didn't get many pictures but the kids loved looking at the museum and learning about the fort, and climbing all over the old fort. As we were walking down a forest path between the sides of the fort, a deer started a walking down the path in front of us so the kids started stalking it's walk when she walked stopping when she did. I wish I would have filmed it it was so funny. 

Camp 18

We went to visit mom and dad in their new house . We had such a good time. We played and visited. Wednesday Dad took a day off work, just for us ❤️ he and I took the kids on a day trip. We went to camp 18 , an old logging camp turned in to a restaurant and museum. The kids loved it . We looked at old logging equipment and read about them. Played in old train cars and walked around the little river. We picnicked by the river on some large rocks and listens to the logging horns. 

Father's Day

This man right here is my my everything! My best friend and love. I would be beyond lost with out him. Corey is hard working and funny. He love his kids and dose so much for each of them. He plays with them pushes them to try something new and try harder at what they love. He sits and plays ponys runs 5k In the summer heat, stand on the sidelines of at windy football practice or just sits and read with them he chases them and makes them laugh. He watch over and blesses our baby's, give blessing for school and when we are sick, leads our home with a sweet and loving priesthood. My man pushes me to be my best and loves me at my worst! I love him more then I love you can express maybe that's why I say it to him 100 times a day. Your the best thing that ever happened to me Corey and I love forever! 

Sun kisses

Summer fun

When you tell dad you want to play plumbers and ask what needs to be fixed. He send you to the crawl space to "work" it kept them busy for hours! 

Kids

Logan is playing the game of life with Anna. It's so funny every day is payday and where do I put my chickens in the car? I just love how they play together !!! 

Love

Corey is amazing he is always thinking of me and trying to make me smile and happy. From being goofy and silly to helping with the kids or doing some of my house work to getting me my favorite treat. I love him so much!!!! 

The Dalles

We went to The Dalles with my mom and dad for dads birthday. It was perfect in the middle for both of us. It was a day trip and so much fun. We had lunch, looked at a bunch of wall murals showing the Organ trail, we went of the Dalles dam tourer, played at a park, had ice cream and played at the river for a bit. Happy Birthday Dad!!!!

Temple

The kids and I walked around the Kennewick LDS temple today. We love going and walking around the grounds together. 

Happiness

Today as I was sitting and reading I looked up and what I saw is my happy place. Art supplies all over the table from Anna coloring. The house clean. The smell of cookies that Thea is cooking. And the boys out side throwing the ball with Corey. Love just slammed in to me. How Lucky I am to be able to be home with my kids each day. To have a husband that works hard for us and loves , loves to play with his kids. The table and kitchen might be a little bit messy but it showed the busy and fun day my girls have had. I am so very blessed to have the life I have and the family I have!!!

Funny chick

While I was at a PTO meeting tonight I got this text from Corey with pictures of a little chick trying to escape. I just love her little head poking out the nest box.

One down many to go

We got the wall built where the doorway used to be and I think it came out great! We moved the school table in and set up all our school books. I just need to add some art to the walls and it's complete. One wall will have our maps on it, I kind of love maps on the wall in the school room some how it feels like school. The other will have room for the kids art work and projects.

One the other side of the room is the office for our business. It's a little space but working well so far. And a big window look at my garden. 

Goats

Logan and Anna are feeding baby goats at my sister in-laws house. Anna loves the baby goats

Strawberries

The first fruit of the year! A hand full of strawberries today. Anna are them up as soon as I took a picture. They are so sweet and delicious ! 

Mondays

Monday's are hard! Waking up, getting going, trying so hard to be nice. Sigh.....why do Monday's  come every week? This morning has be really hard on me after a week helping mom and dad move and a week of just trying to catch up on sleep and get things done around the house, we are back to our regular routine or at least trying to be, and everyone seams to be fighting it 4 kids and 2 dogs! But I'm working through it and so far keeping my calm. This week morning will be hard but I know getting us on track will be worth it and help us all be happy and productive. Little prayer all day will get me through it!  

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!! Corey always spoils me on Mother's Day. From my first mother day on. Corey is amazing he is so thoughtful and He helps the kids spoil me and show me how much they love me. We have very early church this year 8:30( we don't even get up until 8 regularly, cray and so spoiled we are) so he let me sleep in on Saturday. Then we got so much done the rest of the day. After church the kids and my sweet man showered me with gifts and hugs and kisses. Thea got me a new rose bush, one of my favorite flowers, and I think she is being to love them to she loves to hell me care for them and smell the flowers. Anna and Corey got me hanging baskets for the front of the house. I've been dreaming about having some sense we got the house. And Logan as is his tradition got me the cutest shoes. All my best shoes are from him and Corey ❤️ love him. Donovan is my practical one he got me new summer shows for gardening so I don't ruin my cute shoes. I feel loved!!!! 

These sweet kids made a mom and make me want to do better and try harder for them each day. Each in is so amazing and special spirit, that I am so grateful to be blessed to have in our family!!! Mother's Day 2016 perfect ❤️❤️❤️

Spring Rain

Tonight I am sitting on my porch swing watching the rain. I love the smell of spring rain and the thunder and lightening is awesome! I can't say enough how much I love the spring ❤️❤️❤️ I'm getting a few projects done and some started around the house right now. 

Moving last week was busy and lots of work and while I was gone all my plant starts died. So sad ! But we got some new starts and will get them in ground tomorrow. I also found some volunteer tomatoes in one of my boxes when I got home so they will be fun surprise to see what kind they are! 

I had wanted chickens for years and years. Little did I know how much I would love hem and that I would keep buying more and more! I know have 19 chickens !!! Crazy but I love it. So we had to get a bigger coop and run for them. The kids gave up the play house ( that they never play in) for a coop, we spent the day yesterday pulling out gross carpet and fixing a few thing in the new coop, adding chicken wire and shutters to the Windows. And today we started the run its 27 feet long! I think it will be gray for them. 

I'm almost don't with the wall that we built in a door way to close the dinning room off from the kitchen it's going to be the home school and office room. Luckily we have an eat in kitchen so we can give up a formal dining room. Lots of pictures soon as all the project are done.

Anna Fay

I love this picture of Anna it completely shows who she is. Dressed like a princess with wild hair holding  a chicken ❤️ I just adore her!

Moving

It's moving week!! Mom and Dad are moving to Portland, so this week we are in Olympia so I can pack up the house, get it cleans and help my Dad load the moving truck then unload. It's been a busy week already Corey took the big  kids camping last weekend and then dropped them off at his parents house on Sunday then headed home for work Monday. Sunday Anna and I left Sunday for Portland to help my dad clean the new house and get it ready to move in. I scribed bathrooms and clean out the garage, there is a huge truck load for the dump and one for good will. We also pulled up the carpets in 3 rooms so new carpets can go in tomorrow. Today was full of packing and organizing help for the rest of the week. Tomorrow I am hoping to visit Mimi at the rest home for a bit and see Thomas for dinner 😊

Logan is 7!

My Logan man is 7! Happy Birthday sweet boy!!!! Logan is sweet and kind always thought full, loves to cook and clean , silly little man, loves all things building and farming, fishing , camping and dirt, watches out for his little sister, love to play with his siblings but is just as happy by himself. His quite shy side is quickly slipping away leaving a loud noise making boy! But oh how I love how he say momma! And stops in the middle of playing to come hug me. Donovan would be lost with out his they are best friends, my Secret mom hope with I had 2 boys so close in age. For his birthday he asked for a cleaning kit GeGe got it for him and it was his favorite gift! I love his personality and how he is just who he is❤️❤️ Grandpa Bowles took him fishing for his birthday and he is in heaven!! Happy belated big man I love you too the moon and back a million times !!!!!

Helpers

The kids have been asking and asking to ride bikes today. I told them as soon as their chores and my chores are done we can ride bikes. As I cleaned the kitchen these two started in my mountain of laundry folding it all. They did such a good job gliding every thing correctly, I'm kind of a laundry snob about how things are folded. 😊  love when my helpers are happy! 

Berrys and flowers

Last year we planted the blackberry and raspberry but it just looked so plain and need a little lift. We added the Pacers and filled in some garden soil, added new irrigation lines and a few planter buckets. Wild flower seeds , I love a patch of wild flowers, I also added some daisy and forget me nots starts we planted inside a few weeks ago. It's looking so much better. I can't wait to have flowers all over.

Chickens

This is how we wrang chickens. Stick them in a laundry basket. Thea is my chicken whisperer. She loves them and is good with them. They are so fun and cute, well they were cute now they are in an teen age stage not looking so cute but not looking grown up either, but we still love them.

Mom life

All I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a mom, and lucky for me my dream came true with the most amazing husband and best daddy we have our 4 wonderful babies. But when one is sick like tonight it forces me to slow down and be with them. I hate when they are sick but I do love the one on one time we get just sitting and holding them while the sleep all day or reading books. It reminds me that this is what I love other things come and go, but holding this sweet child and loveing them with all I have is what each day is about for me. sometimes, more often then I would like life gets in the way and side tracks me but quite nights of hold sick sleepless kids fills my heart with so much love for them and gratitude for the blessing of being a mom and having been giving such sweet happy spirits. Get some rest sweet sunshine girl I got you! 

Birthdays are special

This little one is 4 today! Oh how time flys and I wish it would stop! But she's 4 and so happy about it. Anna is our little sassy full spirited girl. She lives life to its fullest and drags her bothers and sister along. The adore her! She is a special girl and we are so very blessed to have her. She is as smart as a whip, funny and oh so kind! Life would be dull with out her. Happy Birthday my sunshine girl!! Don't grow up to fast!

Life

One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides my kids being home all day with me, is the flexibility it gives us. When in up most the night with a sick Logan like last night , he and I can sleep in while Thea helps Anna with breakfast and then all the other kids play while we catch up on sleep. Then when we are up we can start school just hitting the top priority sand reading story's most the day with the sick littles. I love that I don't have to be up and make sure kids are ready to leave the house and go to school we just relax and move school back to later in the day. Ahhhh, life is good. I am so grateful for this opportunity and that if allowed the Lords promptings and took that leap of faith in to home schooling. He has provide so well for us and I know he is always there helping me reach my sweet kids.

More spring

We got a few things don't around the house today. We built a few garden boxes and filled them with garden soil. I moved some strawberry starts to a new home. We built the chicken coop and move the little lady's out there. I also moved some house plants to bigger pots and cut off a few starts for a new pot. Corey also fixed the new dish washer a fork was stuck in the water spout. But it's working again. Thank goodness!!! We have one more box to build up front and then fill and trim the tree. There are a bunch of dead branches 🤔 the kids did great with school today and we had so much day left that we got a lot done, fingers crossed for another day like that soon!!
