Spring

I love spring it is most definitely my favorite time of year! The sun is out and more day light, the yard is getting green again, birds are singing, kids are spending as mush time as possible out side playing, bbqing, my garden is sprouting and getting ready to go out side, and this year baby chick. Ahhh I love spring! But really 30 minutes out side clean and weeding and I'm sunburnt:( Thats sad! Guess I will be buying sun screen tomorrow song don't burn with all my up coming projects. We got a few done, moved the play ground  and the trampoline across the yard that took forever. Weeded and planted one garden bed, set up new drip system for the front yard garden, planted 4 rose bushes from my friend, and got all the wood for the new garden boxes.
Next we need to build them and fill them with dirt and plant them both front and back yard, thatch the back yard, pull up all the grass in the front yard and place all the pavers, get all the veggies and flowers planted, and in the house I need to build in a few walls.
Spring makes me energized and oh so happy!!! It lifts my spirits after the long cold windy winter. And the weather is perfect no to hit not to cold. I hope spring is beautiful where you are!!

Working hard

These funny little 8 pages are amazing but also my very least part of homeschooling. The 8's help the kids cross the midline in the brain and help with writing and dyslexia. They are wonderful and have helped a lot already but it is hard work for the kids and they don't love it. It's the one thing I can count on someone fighting me one. But we do it and it's helping.

This is how we schooled today with the help of our baby chicks.

Love notes on my pillow

My sweet boys left me a little love notes on my pillow while I slept in yesterday. I sure love them and there sweet spirits!!!❤️❤️❤️

Baptism

Our little man Donovan turned 8 and he chose to be baptized. We are so happy for him and his choices. Donovan was baptized into our church and his sins washed clean. It was a beautiful day full of love and family. Logan offered the opening prayer, Thea gave a talk she wrote her self about what baptism means, Corey baptized Dovovan and confirmed/ blessed him with the he gift of The Holy Ghost, my dad gave a talk about The Holy Ghost and My mother in law Connie said the closing prayer. It was a small group just family and a few friends. The spirt was so strong and peaceful. I am so great full that We have the opportunity to watch Donovan grow and chose God! I am grateful that we have baptism and that my amazing husband hold the priesthoods and can perform these sweet gifts for our children. My testimony is so strong of family and baptism I am grateful for them.

Growing Garden

I can't believe some times how much I love to garden! This year we are expanding the front garden boxes but also taking over the back yard a little. The onions and carrots need draper soil so in trying them in ground this year. The kids were so great helping weed this whole spot where the last owners had a garden and I had let it go last year. Now our walls walla onions are going in and the carrot will be going in next week. Thea and Logan are enjoying helping today and the puppy is enjoying the dirt to sleep in.
