River beach

We love to play in the water and this river beach at a new park is our new favorite place to spend hot days. The kids had so much fun building a little river and lakes then flooding it so the boats went down the river. After a weekend of camping I was surprised the kids wanted to go swimming again but then thy are kids :) this last weekend we camped on the river and had so much fun I think the big kids lived in the water . we played and fished then Sunday night we got a big heat storm with thunder and lightning and nice cool wind and rain. After the kids had snores and calmed down and went to sleep the adults had so much fun sitting in the storm. Love camping ! Just loving my family and summer!!! Ahhh happy days!

Busy busy summer time

I love summer. I think even more than I did as a kid! I love that all my kids are home all day we don't have to worry about school, home work, schedules, sports. We play at the park every day, go to free movies, play in the water and outside, pick fruit and can it, canning lots of things, play with friends, visit family, camping. Sumer is so fun! Really the very best part is having my kids with me! I love watching them play and be kids I love how Donovan loves to read to me and Logan is always asking questions, I get to watch Thea's imagination and her art come to life, and Anna playing with and bossing her siblings around. We only have a month left of summer I feel the need to make the most of everyday. Now I just need to learn to love the school year too.

My little summer girls! Today is supposed to be 106 ugh way to hot for me! But the kids are loving playing in a little pool and laying out in the sun!

Happy 4th of July

This 4th of July has been pretty laid back....we slept in this morning, missing the parade but know one minded :) we played out side and BBQed with Corey's business partner and his family. Corey smoked some ribs for 5 hours sooooo good!! We played at the park and are sitting waiting for a fire work show to start. I love having a day with my family. And I LOVE that Logan remembered why we celebrate independents day. We talked some nor with the kids and learned more about why we are so lucky to live her in the USA . I feel so blessed today by all we have , the land we live in, and most of all my amazing husband and my crazy sweet kids! I hope everyone else is counting their blessing and loving this wonderful holiday!!!!

Summer time is hard work for a two year old! Running and playing in the sun and water for hours makes for a nice afternoon nap. Love summer time!!!

Summer!

School is out!!! I LOVE summer time, I love then not having to run all over the place to drop and pick up kids and I love my kids being home, going to see family and friends ahhh summer you have been missed at my house! Friday was the last day of school. I spent the Moring at the end of year assembly being a VIP guest, I got a big gift basket from the school as a thank you for PTO president, watching the slide show and doing school cheers 😊 right after school we went to a popsicle party with a bunch if friends and I am surprised my kids were not sick from the number of Popsicles they ate. After park?popsicle party we headed to Olympia for our first vacation of the summer! Well vacation foe the kids and I, Corey spent the weekend plumbing a new bath room for my mom and dad. The kids and I visited with grandparents and friends we see far to little of. Thea and Kayla used to be joined at the hip and best friends, just like their moms! I miss them all so much!!! But loved spending the evening watching the kids play and talking away with Ella! Can't wait to see more of them and all our Friends and family this summer!!!
