Camping Part 2

Swimming and Fishing we spent almost all day every day at the lake. We had so much fun the kids loved fishing with there new poles. And playing in the water was so much fun i hate swimming in lakes but with water shoes I could get in and not feel the slimy bottom. There is this really fun rope swing that you can drop in to the water we made all our kids go off once they really let go they loved it. I went off a few time too but didn't get any pic Corey said he would come back and take one of me but I was done by that point but it is really fun.

Logan had no fear of the water just went right in where ever daddy went Corey took one more step and went shoulder deep but Logan just kept go out to him.

Thea has become a great swimmer!

Camping Part 1

Why is blogging so hard during the summer? It must be all the thing going on that I forget to get on and show off what we've been up to....

I've been wanting to go camping all summer but between the fall weather, babysitting weekends and the being in the nursery at church every other weekend it's been really hard to find the time. So this weekend Corey and I planed on taking our kids and Ella's kids. Kelly and her kids decided to come too. It was such a nice weekend!! The weather was amazing. SUN SUN SUN! I love camping at the church property, it so nice so many things to do and cheep right in my price range. We're going back in a few weeks.

One of the things I love is there is a huge meadow with play sets and tree house(that my kids didn't really play in) and then this big rope swing. The kids love this swing the sign says no one under 10 but all out little kids loved it and almost never waited for an adult. Ian and Logan where the only ones who didn't like it. You can see that the platform for jumping off is pretty high. But none of the little kids even thought twice about it they just climbed up and jumped off!

Say Cheese!

I don't know what it wrong with this computer but it put half the photos side ways, Dose any one know how to fix it? Any way the other day we did a little photo shoot so I could get some more resent pictures up. Here's what we got....Donovan was really hard to get to stand still but I did get a few cute ones of him. Thea and Logan loved it they where happy to sit there and smile all day.

Busy

I've been so busy lately with family and friends the with sick kids but...We had so much fun at the beach for the 4th of July with all our family. The kids had so much fun swimming in the pool and walking around town and the docks looking at boats. Some how I lost my camera when we where unpacking so as soon as I find it and see what else we did I'll post more about our fun 4th.

Thea made this Ninga warrior coarse after watching Ninga warrior with Corey this morning. The kids love the show and yell go go go or you missed!!! This is the first course they made but I never got pics of the other ones they made.

Now lets see if our youngest contestant can make it. GO DONOVAN!!!

Trash to Carft

I found this piece of scrap wood in my Dads scrap pile and thought it looked really cool and would make a fun sign for the wall. I add the CTR and scrap fabric. I think it turned out super cute! OK I don't know why about half of the pic I upload don't turn the right way!

Memorial Weekend

This is a little late but I have been busy doing I don't know every thing But I'm back to blogging lets hope it stays.

This weekend we went out to Westport and stayed at Connie and Allan's condo. On Sunday we were just leaving for a walk and right by the condo was a Memorial Day Tribute. It was really nice to be there and be part of that and help our kids learn about this holiday.

This is a little out of order but... At the end the Coast Guard flew by an drop a wreath of flowers in the ocean. Thea and Donovan like watching Logan didn't love how loud the helicopter was.

After a few church choirs sang the names of any one lost at Sea from this community was read and a bell rang for them.

At the beach

The beach was so nice Sunday. Warm Sun shine, cool breeze, cold water. The kids played for hours and Corey and I got to read it was great then we played tag with the kids . Then went in the cold cold water I never get in the water but the boys wanted in but where a little scared about it so in I went in my sun dress with out a change of cloths, every one else had extra cloths lol. But it was so fun to play in the water with my kids and Corey Jumping over waves, and running away from them. It was a great day, just what I needed to recharge from all the crazy days we've had and the crazy days coming.
