Sewing

For Christmas Thea got a really cute sewing kit. This is her first project a puppy dog.

It turned out really cute! She did it all by her self expect for threading the needle. She made it for Logan because she was gone for his birthday. She continues to surprise me every day with her sweet giving heart. She is a wonderful example for me!
I know he doesn't' look like it but he dose love the puppy he's taken all over the place with him today.

And this is what I have been working on this week. The jean quilt has a flannel back, it's a beach blanket I love it I think it's going to be a great out door blanket for our family.

This blue and yellow one did did a long time ago but just quilted it this week and I love it! I think I will use this pattern again.

This was going to be the back of the jean quilt but I forgot how big the jean quilt was. It would have taken 4 of these quilts to cover it. But it's going to be a smaller outside quilt. My kids love having blankets to sit on and play on out side. I love having a house that I have a whole closet for my sewing stuff so I can get into it and having a nice table to work at I know I'll be doing so many more projects now.

Happy Late Mothers Day

I know it's late But Happy Mothers Day! I had a wonderful day. Corey and the kids let me sleep in and made me a great breakfast. Church was so nice the kids sang My kids even stayed the right way and smiled and tryed to sing! I loved it. We stoped by my moms and visited for a few hours then had dinner with at Connie and Allan's it was great as always. We had so much fun just being with family. I am so grateful for the mothers in my life, and so grateful for my beautiful children for the love, happiness, the hard days and smiles they have brought me and I know they will keep bring me. Happy Late Mothers Day to every woman I know !

Duck Duck Goose

Happy Birthday Big Man!!!!

For Logan's birthday party we did a Duck and Goose party. Logan loves all books but by far his favorite is Duck and Goose books by Tad Hill. I got farm party things and just added Duck and Goose to it. Then I made this cute cup cakes that where really really good. And turned out super cute!!

The pinata was a barn I just added the dancing Goose on the back and Duck sitting on the front.

He got some really cute books from Grandma George and Cousin Nova. And my friend Nina got Logan some new frog boots just like the ones I just had to toss out.

He's been wearing them all day.

Logan was so funny opening this even be for the paper was off he was saying Oh and Wow it was to cute. He got this Mater bubble push thing from Grandma Bowles. He loves it. He pushes it just enough to get some bubbles then stops to step on all the bubbles then has to brush his feet off of the soap from the bubbles popping.

I just love this funny smile of his. The sun is in his eyes and is saying cheese. But so cute.

Pampa's Big Toy

My Dad had to rented a fork lift for some project he was working on, and he invited us over so the kids could have a ride on it. Thea, Donovan loved it Logan liked it until Pompa turned it on and tryed to take him for a ride. But when Daddy drove and took him he loved it. Thea and Donovan loved moving wheels around the yard with Pompa and lifting Daddy up in to the air.
